Recently, on a trip to the west coast to see friends and family, my boyfriend and I got together for dinner and journaling with our dear (and uber talented friends) Teesha and Tracy Moore. After knowing Teesha for years and having a connection with her, we thought it would be fun for her to meet my littles, so she invited us back the next day to hang out awhile. We all had a blast.
While I was there, Teesha asked if I would be willing to page through my journal on camera for a post for her online art group, "The Artstronauts Club", which I was really humbled and honored to do. We had a blast, and I had never been 'interviewed' before. It was all random and off the cuff, which was fun. We enjoyed a lot of giggles. Teesha and Tracy are truly huge-hearted people who I'm blessed to say are my friends, which is so fulfilling, because I never feel as complete as a human than when I am around like-minded souls, which they definitely are. They've always just accepted and encouraged me as I am, from way back when I first met them in Phoenix, Arizona in 2007 for art classes, to now dating one of the behind-the-scenes crew members of the beloved Artfest retreats, a long-time friend/adopted family member of theirs. Funny how life works out sometimes, eh?
The Artstronauts Club is like a juicy drink of refreshment every day for an artist or creative spirit. Almost daily, there are videos, inspiration, how-to's, and a peek into the creative brains of other artists. All for less than the price of a latte at $5 a month. It is such a steal! I would really encourage anyone to check it out...what's the worst that could happen? :)
